Description

Produced by roller-milling the whole wheat grain, sieving, and then adding back 1/2 the original bran component. Retains a substantial proportion of wheat's nutrients although some of the dietary fibre is lost by removing the bran. Made from a hard wheat with a protein level of 13% or higher. Is light brown in colour and gives a slightly heartier texture and flavour to baked goods than Kialla plain flour. Must be refrigerated or frozen to retain freshness.

An all purpose flour suitable for most everyday cooking needs. Good for Pizza bases, Pikelets, Pancakes & Scones.
